Honestly, I'm gone for a couple of shows and the show's structure gets thrown right out the window.

Traditionally on a Whatcha Been Watchin' Lately episode we'll have some guests on and everyone will talk about one film they've seen recently. Not today! No, with Jay still away, Richard took sole hosting duties and let Cameron, Todd, David and Howard run amok, listing up to twelve films each, plus way more tangents than usual, and that's saying something. So what's the result? A whole heap of movie recommendations, that's what!

It's Lambpardy time again!

There's two competitions in one in this week's round of Lambpardy. Yes, returning champion Chris "Tank" Tanski is back to try and defend his title against some new competitors, but there's something much more important going on amongst those very opponents - sibling rivalry. That's right, for the first time in Lambpardy history we've got siblings competing against each other, with newcomers and sister Tiffany and Rebekah battling it out for movie trivia supremacy!

Also on tap: Rants, Raves and Reviews of the Week, and another game!

You know what happens when Vern submits a film for Movie of the Month? We end up talking about Showgirls.

After Howard the Duck, Jay basically vowed to never let Vern host a MOTM show again, yet somehow this happened, so in protest Jay isn't here this week and Richard reluctantly took the hosting reigns to try and wrangle Vern, Chris and Doug towards a sensible discussion of a movie that begs the opposite.

Also on tap: Rants, Raves and Reviews of the Week and a game about even more terrible films.

As you should already know by now, Mickey Rooney is our actor of the month in the newly-revived Acting School 101 feature, being hosted by me, MovieRob. Alongside the monthly blogathon held here on the LAMB site, I will also be hosting a monthly podcast episode devoted to the actor and their roles, and wouldn’t you know it but that’s this very show here!

I was joined by Tiffany from the Pure Entertainment Preservation Society to discuss all thing Mickey Rooney, but mainly the five performances of his that we like the most. The shows will be released every month within the Lambcast feed, so no extra subscribing is necessary! Just sit back and listen to the show.

What do you do when you host a podcast, but there are no big movie releases and no obvious tie-ins to current events? It's simple, you do a show on pretty much anything, and we call them Bring A Discussion Topics.

Whilst Jay was off gallivanting around Wales, Richard stepped into the hosting chair and was joined by Audrey, Howard, Todd and Vern to cover every aspect of the movie-loving experience, from theatres to criticism, awards to streaming. Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week and a fun game!

As the summer blockbuster season draws to a close it's time to look ahead to the next stage in the cinematic odyssey that is 2018: Award's Season, when the films have fewer literal explosions, but more metaphorically explosive performances, space jazz and shirtless Hemsworths.

Jay and Richard were joined by Audrey, Kristen and Tony to look ahead at potentially the best of what the rest of this year has to offer.

Also on tap: Rants, Raves & Reviews of the Week and a game of Rotten Tomato Catch-Up.

We've got a great show for you to sink your jaws into this week, as we take a swim with The Meg!

Jay was joined by a couple of newcomers, Tim Costa and Doug Jamieson to discuss whether The Meg deserves to sink or swim at the box office. For such a B-grade movie concept the discussion went in some surprising directions as we covered the Oscars, Hitchcock, Marvel and Geostorm in far greater detail than anyone expected. Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week and a return of the game where Jay loses his mind.

OK, so it's about snakes, and they're on a plane and, well, yeah that's about it really.

In an unprecedented turn of events Jay went all megalomaniacal shepherd on everyone and forbade any and all other Movie of the Month submissions for August, monopolising the board and only submitting films he wanted to see. The LAMB revolted and selected probably the film he was least excited for on the entire list, Snakes on a Plane, and here we are. He was joined by Richard, Rob, Jason and Jeanette to discuss the surprisingly deep cast, numerous ridiculous deaths and arguably the worst music video/best marching band performances of all time.

Also on tap: rants and raves and our most expletive-laden game in history.
