(Due to Podomatic space constraints, the audio file for this episode had to be taken down. If you're listening to back episodes and would like this one, you can find it at the LAMBcast Archives. Thanks!)
I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a movie fan, much less a movie blogger, not at least somewhat familiar with The Shining, but I give the IMDb summary every other time, so why not now?
"A family heads to an isolated hotel for the winter where an evil and spiritual presence influences the father into violence, while his psychic son sees horrific forebodings from the past and of the future. "
Let's see what your fellow LAMBs had to say about it...
Thanks to all of the LAMBs that sent in their posts for this edition of the MOTM (great turnout this month!).

It's also time to vote on next month's movie. This month, we introduce a new wrinkle to the selection of the next Movie of the Month - MOTM Champions. The gist is this: I ask for volunteers - people to select a film to be placed on the poll (up to 10 per month, as usual), then promote it, be that on their site, Facebook, Twitter, whatever. Should their film win, they are guaranteed a spot on the LAMBcast episode where we will discuss said film. As a bonus (?), they will also get to host that segment of the show.
This month, we had six Champions - the sites are listed along with the films in the poll below. You have one week to vote (and promote your movies!). I'll be putting out the call for the next MOTM in a few weeks, so stay tuned.
As we do every month, the LAMBcast is tied in with the MOTM. This month, we suffered through some connectivity isues with Skype, but soldiered on and, short of us mentioning the issues, I'm not sure how apparent they will be. On hand were Nick

Music provided royalty-free by Kevin MacLeod's Incompetech website - thanks to Kevin for providing this service. The LAMBcast loves feedback, too; if you'd like your feedback read on the show, leave a note in the comments sections here. We're on Facebook as well. Finally, we're on iTunes, and would love a review, even if it's a bad one.
Thanks for listening!
