As you should already know by now, Charles Bronson (RIP) is our actor of the month in the newly-revived Acting School 101 feature, being hosted by me, MovieRob. Alongside the monthly blogathon held here on the LAMB site, I will also be hosting a monthly podcast episode devoted to the actor and their roles, and wouldn’t you know it but that’s this very show here!

I was joined by Damien Riley from Riley On Film to discuss all things Charles Bronson, but mainly the five performances of his that we like the most. The shows will be released every month within the Lambcast feed, so no extra subscribing is necessary! Just sit back and listen to the show.

If you have any reviews, podcasts or features written or published about Charles Bronson or any film or TV show he has appeared in, send them to me at actingschool101@movierob.net by 10th November.

Are you going to see Jigsaw this weekend? WAIT! What if you haven't had time to watch all 7 previous Saw movies? What if it's been years since you last saw them? Can you really trust your memory and knowledge of this franchise's needlessly complex plotting? Well hold up, it's OK, the Lambcast is here to give you a rundown of the twists, turns and traps before you venture to the cinema.

Jason Soto returned to the guest host dungeon and was chained up with Darren Lucas and Simon Columb, and given less than 2 hours to either recount all the plots or be trapped there forever. Listen now to see if they succeeded!

There are three rules to horror movies: killers don't really die, final girls are never truly safe, and horror sequels are just plain bad. Or are they? That's what we're hoping to find out today!

Darren Lucas takes his first slump into the guest host's chair for the Horror Sequel Draft, very similar to the Horror Draft from a few years ago, but this time made up entirely of sequels! He was joined in the competition by Tony, Aaron, Vern and Darren's own co-host Damien to battle it out for scary sequel supremacy. The poll is at the bottom of the page, but first you should listen to the very entertaining show!

Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week and a game of Last Lamb Standing.

Whatcha been watchin' lately? Well what we've been watchin' is a bunch of horror movies, come hear about 'em... if you dare!

Todd Liebenow steps into the guest host shoes to lead the discussion on the scary cinema that's been tickling the eyeballs of Zoe, Howard, Sean, Vern and himself. They cover giallo, lawn darts, and in their own words "a damn fine cannibal film".

Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week (otherwise known as The Love Witch discussion, part 2) and a game of Last Lamb Standing.

Do you love witches? Which witches do you love? Is The Love Witch the witch which you love?

It's here! What is? It! What? Ah forget it. What, It? Just drop it, alright? Drop what? It? Aaaaaaaargh!

If you've listened to other podcasts covering It and you were disappointed in the lack of discussion on child molestation and the most efficient way of killing minors, well then you've come to the right place! Jay was away this week, but Kristen was let loose with the hosting reigns in his place, and was joined by Jason, Howard and Cameron to float around the new adaptation of Stephen King's It.

It's Movie of the Month time once again, and this month we're wading into the thick of it with a British/American political comedy, so what better way to discuss it than with a mix of British and American movie fans?

Jay was joined by In The Loop's champion and fellow Brit Tony to duke it out against Richard, Howard and newcomer to the LAMB and the Lambcast, Cameron.

take it with you

Iphone_trans Listening to podcasts on your mobile devices is extremely convenient -- and it's what makes the podcasting medium so powerful.

You can take your favorite shows and mixes with you anywhere, but to do so requires some quick and simple steps.

Let's walk you through that process together.
step 1:

Click the "Subscribe With iTunes" link in the page's sidebar:

Subscribe_with_itunes

This will require that you have the iTunes software on your computer.

(You can download iTunes here.)
step 2:
Itunes_ss

Now that you've subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, the feed will display in your "Podcasts" section on the left navigation bar.

Click there and you'll see the show displayed in the iTunes browser.

You can "get all" to download all available episodes or just individual episodes.
step 3:

Plug your mobile device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) into your computer with the Dock Connector cable, and click the device in iTunes's left navigation bar.

Itunes_ss2

Once you have your device highlighted, click "Podcasts" in the top navigation bar and sync the podcasts you want on your device. Click "apply" and the episodes you have downloaded on your iTunes software will sync with your device.
that's it!

The beauty of this process is that now, every new episode of your subscribed podcasts will automatically sync to your device every time you plug it in and open iTunes. You can now take your favorite shows with you everywhere you go.

Enjoy!
done!
