It's here! Potentially the most ambitious movie of all time! And we did a podcast on it, just like everyone else!

Jay Cluitt was joined by Bubbawheat, Jeanette Ward, Tony Cogan and newcomer Sophie Athawes to re-enact a full blow-by-blow of the entire Avengers: Infinity War plot, so if you haven't seen it then you should really pay attention to the spoiler wall warning, as we cover everything, even things not in the film.

Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week and an intense game of Last Lamb Standing.
00:00 Intros
04:27 Avengers: Infinity War spoiler-free discussion

Anime! Frustration! Kids! Superheroes! More superheroes! All this and more on this week's Lambcast!

Richard Kirkham takes his first turn in the hosting chair and is joined by Audrey Fox, Tony Cogan, Zoe Rose Smith and JD Duran to run through their own personal top 5 lists. Audrey goes gaga for child actors, Zoe lets out some work frustration, Tony gets animated over anime and JD and Richard almost team up for a superhero smackdown.

Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week, a brief game and plugs, though not in the order you might be expecting!

It's been a long time since we recorded a Whatcha Been Watchin' Lately show and, given how much fun this week's episode was, clearly we shouldn't let such a long gap happen again.

Jay was joined by Nick, David and Kami to chat about some movies they've seen recently, ranging from a near-silent horror, a crime-thriller, a weather-based disaster flick and whatever the heck Super Inframan is. Listen to find out more!

Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week and a return of everyone's favourite game that drives Jay insane, Mystery Alaska!

Our Spielberg coverage concludes this week with a very well-timed movie of the month win for the Indiana Jones franchise, a collection of four films varying from some of the greatest ever made to at least one we'd have preferred not to discuss, but dammit we did anyway.

Jay was joined by the franchise's champion, Jeanette Ward, along with Todd Liebenow, Richard Kirkham and Getter Trumsi to dig into and uncover the many and various hidden treasures these films contain, doing our best to avoid the snakes, bugs, rats, traps, giant boulders and Shia LaBeoufs along the way.

Are you sick of the state of the world today? Want to escape to a place where everything is wonderful and exciting? A place of diverse opinions but mutual respect and appreciation for movies and life in general? Then why not listen to the latest Lambcast episode, dedicated to Spielberg's latest blockbuster, Ready Player One.

Jay was joined by Audrey, Cameron, Matt and newcomer Getter to delve into the Oasis and everything it entails. As always our initial thoughts are spoiler-free, but after a warning we get more in depth with details from the film and the book. Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week and a round of the Rotten Tomatoes game!

As you should already know by now, Michelle Pfeiffer is our actress of the month in the newly-revived Acting School 101 feature, being hosted by me, MovieRob. Alongside the monthly blogathon held here on the LAMB site, I will also be hosting a monthly podcast episode devoted to the actor and their roles, and wouldn’t you know it but that’s this very show here!

I was joined by Damien Riley from Riley On Film to discuss all thing Michelle Pfeiffer, but mainly the five performances of hers that we like the most. The shows will be released every month within the Lambcast feed, so no extra subscribing is necessary! Just sit back and listen to the show.

If you have any reviews, podcasts or features written or published about Michelle Pfeiffer or any film or TV show she has appeared in, send them to me at actingschool101@movierob.net by 10th April.

We've held many director retrospectives on the Lambcast but, somewhat unforgivably, we've never covered a female director. Well all that changes today, because this week's show is dedicated to the works of Ava DuVernay.

To celebrate the release of her latest film, A Wrinkle In Time, Jay was joined by Audrey, Rebecca, Chris and Cameron to look at her documentaries and feature films, half of which are available on Netflix. Also on tap: rants and raves of the week and a quick game of Last Lamb Standing.

Ready Player One is just a couple of weeks away from being released, and it's a film we at the Lambcast are pretty excited about, so it seemed like the perfect time to celebrate the career of one of the greatest directors working today, and the best way we know to celebrate something is to critique, debate and flat-out fight over it in a draft.

Jay Cluitt was joined by Heather Baxendale, Richard Kirkham, Jeanette Ward and Matthew Stewart to trial out this new-fangled Director Draft format, and frankly we all reckon it turned out pretty darn good. So take off your hat, sit back in your customised Bridge of Spies chair, grab a handful of Reese's Pieces and enjoy a show that is most certainly better than a kick in the dick.

It's time for everyone's favourite time of the year, Celebrity Lambpardy!

Alas your regular celebrity host, Sean Connery, was too ill to record, but fortunately Nicolas Cage stepped up to the plate to attempt to wrangle this year's competitors in some kind of order. Joining him in the Lambpardy studio were Matthew McConaughey, Swedish Chef, Jimmy Stewart, Jeff Goldblum, Harvey Fierstein and Al Pacino!

It's a podcast, what harm even came from listening to a podcast?

It's Mother Day's in the UK this Sunday, and today is International Woman's Day, so what better time to discuss 1999's The Mummy? Jay was joined by Audrey Fox, Kristen Lopez, Zoe Rose Smith and Richard Kirkham to talk about the Stephen Sommers' action-horror reboot in all it's tomb-raiding, flesh-eating, fez-wearing glory.

Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week and a round of Last Lamb Standing.

take it with you

Iphone_trans Listening to podcasts on your mobile devices is extremely convenient -- and it's what makes the podcasting medium so powerful.

You can take your favorite shows and mixes with you anywhere, but to do so requires some quick and simple steps.

Let's walk you through that process together.
step 1:

Click the "Subscribe With iTunes" link in the page's sidebar:

Subscribe_with_itunes

This will require that you have the iTunes software on your computer.

(You can download iTunes here.)
step 2:
Itunes_ss

Now that you've subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, the feed will display in your "Podcasts" section on the left navigation bar.

Click there and you'll see the show displayed in the iTunes browser.

You can "get all" to download all available episodes or just individual episodes.
step 3:

Plug your mobile device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) into your computer with the Dock Connector cable, and click the device in iTunes's left navigation bar.

Itunes_ss2

Once you have your device highlighted, click "Podcasts" in the top navigation bar and sync the podcasts you want on your device. Click "apply" and the episodes you have downloaded on your iTunes software will sync with your device.
that's it!

The beauty of this process is that now, every new episode of your subscribed podcasts will automatically sync to your device every time you plug it in and open iTunes. You can now take your favorite shows with you everywhere you go.

Enjoy!
done!
