With Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk just around the corner, this month's Movie of the Month could well be considered a companion piece to it, as this week we're delving into Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan.

As the movie's champion Rob led the discussion, and was joined by super fan and regular host Jay, relative newcomers to the film Jess and Damien, and absolute first-timer Kristen.

Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week and a game of Last Lamb Standing.

Whilst we never got to see Edgar Wright's Ant-Man, the silver lining on that shrinking-and-growing-again cloud is we got to see Baby Driver, the film he's been planning for around two decades, that  little bit sooner.

Jay Cluitt was joined by Kristen Lopez, Nikhat Zhara and Courtney Small to discuss the action-crime-musical-comedy-romance-thriller, it's glorious soundtrack, and just how much they hate Ansel Elgort's face.

Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week and a game of Last Lamb Standing.

As you should already know by now, Natalie Wood (RIP) is our actor of the month in the newly-revived Acting School 101 feature, being hosted by me, MovieRob. Alongside the monthly blogathon held here on the LAMB site, I will also be hosting a monthly podcast episode devoted to the actor and their roles, and wouldn’t you know it but that’s this very show here!

I was joined by Kristen Lopez from the Journeys in Classic Film to discuss all thing Wood, but mainly the five performances of hers that we like the most. The shows will be released every month within the Lambcast feed, so no extra subscribing is necessary! Just sit back and listen to the show.

If you have any reviews, podcasts or features written or published about Natalie Wood or any film or TV show he has appeared in, send them to me at actingschool101@movierob.net by 10th July.

It's Movie of the Month time again on the Lambcast, and for the second time we're talking about a James Bond movie, in this case The Spy Who Loved Me, the 10th Bond film overall and the third to star the sadly departed Sir Roger Moore.

Now when it comes to talking about Bond, surely nobody does it better that Aaron Neuwirth, the movie's champion. He was joined by Richard Kirkham, Bubbawheat and Jay Cluitt to each provide very different perspectives on the Bond franchise. Given the wealth of discussion areas a Bond movie provides this led to a very in depth and lengthy discussion, that is a highly entertaining listen for Bond fans and those who don't care quite so much about agent 007.

Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week and a game of Last Lamb Standing.

When it comes to new releases, here on the Lambcast we only typically cover the major blockbusters and franchise sequels, things like Star Wars, James Bond, Harry Potter and the superhero tentpoles. In an effort to broaden those horizons, Universal's announcement of their plans for a "Dark Universe" piqued out interests, so we thought we'd get in on the ground floor (not counting Dracula Untold, which Universal don't seem to count either) and start this series from the beginning with the latest incarnation of The Mummy.

Jay Cluitt was joined by Todd Liebenow, Matthew Stewart, Darren Lucas and Mario Brown to unravel (sorry) this monstrous remake.

Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week, and a game of Last Lamb Standing.

The DC Expanded Universe has been seemingly floundering for a while now, with the so-called "DC Curse" being in full effect, but that was before Diana Prince donned her battle tiara and strode onto the battlefield.

Jay Cluitt was joined by Kristen Lopez, Bubbawheat, DJ Valentine and Justin Polizzi to dig into just what makes this new Wonder Woman movie so fantastic, after giving the DCEU a good kicking first of course.

Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week, a game of Last Lamb Standing, and find out what left Justin stunned in a public bathroom.

It's Lambpardy time again!

Chris "Tank" Tanski is back to defend his title against Lambpardy newcomers Richard Kirkham and Marc Armstead. Will he succeed? Do we have a new Lambpardy champion? Listen to find out!

Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week and a game of Last Lamb Standing.

Finally, a big thank you to Tony Cogan, Todd Liebenow, DJ Valentine, Darren Lucas and, regrettably, Nick Rehak for submitting questions for today's show. Not all the questions were used, some have been saved for future games.

You can "get all" to download all available episodes or just individual episodes.
step 3:

Plug your mobile device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) into your computer with the Dock Connector cable, and click the device in iTunes's left navigation bar.

Itunes_ss2
